Emily Hope is a teenage singer/songwriter based in Connecticut. With ten years of piano experience, she taught herself to play and sing simultaneously at age 10. Later taking up the guitar and writing her first song at a performing arts camp, Emily is completely dedicated to her music. "I sing everywhere; in the shower, at the dinner table, at school. It's like my second language," says the songwriter. As much as she loves expressing her own thoughts through original songs, Emily also enjoys taking a pop, rock, or country song and making it into an acoustic cover. Her passion and determination assist her in pursuing her dreams of being a musician. When she is not at a voice, piano, or guitar lesson, Emily enjoys participating in musical theater, and hanging out with her friends, whom she often asks for an opinion on new music. The teen uses artists such as Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles, and Ingrid Michaelson as inspiration, and has a love for understated piano tracks. Emily's own music showcases the drama, struggles, and laughs that come with being a teenager. Buy her EP Hold On, and follow her on social media to follow Emily on her journey.
