About Emily Hope
Emily Hope is a teenage singer/songwriter from Glastonbury, CT. She has been expressing herself through song for as long as she can remember! Emily loves performing live the most, and you can find her at local farmers markets, fall festivals, private parties, and other events, sometimes even using her loop pedal to create a more layered, full sound. When she isn’t performing live, Emily spends her time writing original songs, with inspiration from artists such as Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles. She also has a passion for putting her own twists on popular songs- whether they be older classics, the latest Taylor Swift jam, or her favorite latin tunes. The teen musician is fluent in both English and Spanish and enjoys creating translations of music- anything from reggaeton to argentine rock. Check out her Youtube channel to watch her #TranslationTuesday videos! Emily loves combining her unique passions and using them to spread joy and hope through music, and in addition to being in her name, hope has taken on a huge role in the singer's life. She wishes for her music to reach as many people as possible, so they can feel the hope music has given her. In addition, Emily has been an avid Wizard of Oz fan since she was born and is a lover of rainbows, as they are a symbol of hope (see what she did there?)
